Desktop Resolution

"What is your desktop Resolution?"
a. Above 1024 x 768
b. 1024 x 768
c. 800 x 600
d. Below 800 x 600
The first one is for monitors with the standard resolutions above 1024 x 768, mostly applicable for 17" onwards monitors....

The last one is simply kept....just in remote cases...any one using...a low resolution (due to missing graphics driver ;-) )

Please poll..

Just as good as it is for Windows or Mac. I have an LCD and I am sure several other people do.

I use 1280x1024 for a 17" Nec LCD monitor. When I had a 19" I went like 1600x1400.

1280*1024 on a 15' screen. Why are high resolutions only for large screens? Everything looks huge on 1024*768

My mom's new Suse system runs on a 19" Acer LCD. It is fscking beautiful!! I come back to my house with my wimpy Sony G420 CRT 20" and I think to myself...only $300....only $300...

To answer the questions, the new X.org drivers work really well. I have had no issues with my system (ATI 7500) or my mom's (Nvidia GX5200).

It's so much nicer (brighter & eaisier on the eyes) than my old CRT.
