Wireless Problem
 
Hey

I have a problem with my wireless internet connection for FC5. I tried installing ndiswrapper but when I tried to activate it. It says it failed.COuld you please help me ?

I have an inspiron 5100, Broadcom BCM4306MP(DELL TRUEMOBILE 1300 WLAN).

Installed ndiswrapper how??? Please post the actual error message and other details like the output from the commands;

uname -a

iwlist wlan0 scan

iwconfig wlan0

ndiswrapper -l

Try pressing the wireless button once then try connecting again;

ifconfig wlan0 up    or    dhclient wlan0    or    dhcpcd wlan0

these pages help you rip drivers for FC5 from the windows drivers. I found these instructions helpful and I am using them right now with a linksys WPA54G v1.2 wireless pcmcia card.
