ttf fonts antialiasing is not working
Hi folks,
Running fc3/kde3.4. The font antialisaing is not working. The fonts are always aliased. I've already selected antialiasing thru KDECC, xfs is also running. What could be the problem. It used to work fine previously on rh9. And oh, I'm using ms ttf fonts, verdana and tahoma. |
i also have used these fonts, are these in the path for ttf fonts???
|
Yes masand, they're on the path. This is driving me crazy, I find it difficult to browse the net without antialiasing.
Also in rh9 I could use qt-config and set antialising there, but qt-config is missing in this new KDE version. So I don't know how can I configure qt's behavior. Plzzz, enlighten me. |
have u tried setting antialiising from the controlcenter in kde

hi there
have u tried installing the freetype fonts?? |
Freetypes? no. I don't know about free types fonts.
But I'm not have antialiasing problems with other fonts than ttfs. |
hi there
is sans-serif a ttf font?? i do not know much about this but i tried feetype fonts for my problem that solved it regards |
ms sans-serif is ttf.
And do you know how to configure fonts for wx-gtk? or even gtk. Is there any frtontends for that? Like qt-config for qts. |
i am sorry
i haven't gone this far in configuring fonts!!! |
hehe, no problem.
If I can only manage to configure wx-gtk to use antialiasing all would be OK. |
