I'm glad to hear that. You may want to note how the automatic partition tool loayed out your partition table so that in the future you can customize to your heart's content within this framework that Fedora seems to like.

I think if I want to go for custom partition I have to use Rescue CD to do that or knoppix,,,,because the link below suggested that:

What I was doing in my previous partitioning I was using other utilities (Partition Commander, Paragon) to partition HD

1) Select Workstation
2) Select "automatically partion"
3) Remove all partitions AND Review (and modify...) the partitions
4) Delete Everything
5) 512 mb swap (for 1 gb RAM, 2048 swap size)
6) next, next, next....
7) File system will format, finally-unless, of course, you have a bad hard drive-which is not uncommon. I have thrown away dozens of maxtor drives this year alone from people's dell/compaq computers, they're not very good drives.

I'm trying to track down the real reason for this error (which is still occurring in Fedora 7). Were you installing a 64-bit version (x86_64) of the OS? Did you have any particularly large partitions? (It appears not.)

I used 32-bit version
