Cube - the best opensource FPS until Quake III engine will be open-sourced. Then ET will take the trone.

GL117 is addictive too.

FooBillard!

Mizzou_Engineer 02-16-2006 09:04 AM

Cube, it's an OpenGL/SDL game based on the Doom engine. It's a fun FPS.

Let's Face It.....

Gaming on Linux kind of sucks. I do appreciate all the work the guys over at Transgaming are doing. As OSS games go, I would have to say that Cube is the best all around when comparing games the the more traditional gaming environment of Windoze games. Peace.

New vs Old

Ha, I'm still playing dopewars, and frozen bubble. And don't forget about crack attack! Newest game I would say Ksudoku!

darthtux 02-19-2006 05:49 AM

I've wasted hours on frozen-bubble.

jhigz 02-19-2006 10:49 PM

My daughter loves Frozen Bubble. My son likes Battle for Wesnoth and Tux Racer. I'm afraid for games I switch to Windows, (NOLF, HalfLife, AOEII, Grim Fandango, etc)
