Vector linux gone


It seems to me that this distro doesn't exist anymore ..

It was a nice distro way back when.

7.1 version still supplies i486 isos for those problem boxes.

It was the real slack deal.Excellent once dialed in. A lady called granny was an awesome hack and lived on those forums. Sadly she passed about 20 years back.I lived in Vector for a few years to " get it down".
After 4. or 5. I went back to Debian where I plan to stay.
I play with some Arch crap but it's only for tinkering....NOT real computing

This was my first usable linux. I had attempted Slackware when they said it would run in 8 MB ram. Was finally told that it required a bit more to install!
I started Vector with 5.9 and 6.0 were great. Disliked 7.0 but 7.1 was good again. 7.2 was very good but never actually released as the leader had stepped down and no one stepped up to take his place.
