running apt-get.

hello ppl,

whenever i run apt-get im getting this error :
Code:

W: GPG error: http://ftp.nerim.net etch Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 07DC563D1F41B907
W: GPG error: http://us.archive.ubuntu.com breezy Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <ftpmaster@ubuntu.com>
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

i am not sure why this is so.

pls help.

thank you.

means that apt can't find the gnupgp signing key to verify the packages authenticity on nerim.

i get the same every time i update (debian-proper). i ignore it.

if it really bothers you, you can modify your apt repos for nerim to not check for a key...never bothered me enough to do it on my box...google it if you want to.

or disable your repos for nerim with a #....me, i gotta be able to view proprietary ms-crap-for-video and i want the latest and greatest.

apt still does it's job...if the error caused apt to stop working...that would be a different story...

gpg: no writable keyring found: eof

does it matter that he/she has debian etch repo mixed with breezy repos? i thought it did but im not really sure?
