I used CUPS Add Printer function to connect my HP Officejet Pro wirelessly to LEAP4.2. Forget the details, but SOCKET came into it. The info is fairly self explanatory. This followed many unsatisfactory tries using HPLIP, which could never find the printer, whether directly or via YAST.
