AFAIK glamor is not a dependency of mesa. Furthermore I can't figure out why mesa would come into play, so I can't see a need to rebuild it and anyhow your version of radeon needs glamor. What do you have in mind? The mesa version in -current is 10.5.4 at time of writing and the current stable release is 10.6.1 but what would make you think that an upgrade be necessary in your case?

OK just trying the xorg-server rebuild now.

Nope no change with the xorg-server rebuild with --enable-glamor, the Xorg.0.log are the same also, I compared them. The only thing I can think of is that the glamor-egl file was either not built right or needs upgrading. I tried the glamor file from this link: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/glamor/ and at least this one booted in to a black screen with a regular mouse curser not the rectangle one and there was no xorg log error. *sigh* I guess I'll look around and see if I can find one that works, thanks for your help anyway.
