In fact, I did feel this when I first installed 64-current. Firefox by default 'felt' like it was swimming in cold molasses, and I made a comment on it in one of the many recent [Slackware-current] threads.

Now, my FF is very fast! Just like it was on Slack 11, and certainly several times faster than IE/FF on the roommates XP machine.

In resolv.conf I had two lines I've now commented:
Those lines were:

I copied this from my Debian resolv.conf. Now, I took them out. Is that OK?
