It doesn't.

As far as I know (could be wrong), that's a git issue.

at least you stick to tasty food items, unlike other forum members with obvious anger management issues causing grievous bodily harm using baseball bats. Maybe a cultural difference. ;)

I never said anything about permanent bodily harm. :p

But, I would agree with anyone that his ego needs to be taken down a notch or two by whatever means necessary.

Didier Spaier 05-21-2013 10:58 PM

Though I be not exempt of having done that myself sometimes, IMO we should refrain of slipping from feeling about someone to personal attacks.

brianL 05-22-2013 02:53 AM

It's hard to refrain from personal attacks, when the personality of the person under attack is the main problem.

Just picture a pink fluffy bunny with a pink phone, and let all that anger leave your body ...

Ask (non-Lennart) questions?

No confusion on my part.

Actually, I had no thoughts of bodily harm towards the man, UNTIL I saw that. Now I must release the rottweilers.

Yeah. Makes me want to drop my baseball bat...and pick up a chainsaw.

@brianL - What is it with you and small cuddly animals like cats and chickens and bunnies that provokes dismemberment? Sense a stable release coming?

PS - Nice to see you back! This thread needed a lift.

I don't know. It's baffled a few psychoanalysts, too.

I might get more accurate results, examining Lennart's entrails. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Thanks. I've not really been away, just doing more lurking than posting.

allend 05-22-2013 10:55 AM

Only somebody who baffles psychoanalysts could suggest that stability might be revealed by examination of LP entrails!
Then again, maybe I am just weirded out by Darth Vader in pink with a Hello Kitty logo.

Hehe ...

Anyway, do admit he's not that scary as some people made him look like.

I've only met him briefly at FOSDEM, where he got that pink phone (obviously a joke) ;-} ... and no, he did nothing absurd, egocentric or annoying.

It's easy to make assumptions if you don't know people ...

Seriously, this topic should be about systemd and not Lennart.

True. I've read some of his articles, and seen him in videos on youtube, and can only base my opinion of him on them. The only experience of systemd I've had was with ArchARM on my Raspberry Pi. I'm not keen on rolling releases, so I didn't keep it for long.
