My permissions look identical to yours, and when execute the Nmap command it only list 3 open port and the rest closed. So is this how you verify that the firewall is working? Is there a command for stats? I tried a couple that I found online but they all seamed to say I needed to first install iptables

So I did install the firewall but I have a question, how can I find out if the firewall is working? As well after I chroot the file do I need to start it manually?
If you have put the rc.firewall script in /etc/rc.d/ and have made it executable, it will start automatically after reboot.
