Problems with slackware 9.1 shut down
ok my prob is i been looking around slack and i dont seem to find shut down button or halt or something that will shut down and my question what do i need to do to shut down o halt ..........thanks

go into your terminal and use: shutdown -h

or just type "halt"

If it is the former, then it sounds like an APM (Advanced Power Management) issue that you need to enable in order to get the machine to power off. Paul |
