Firefox printing size.....

Hi guys,
I have a little problem printing web pages with firefox. Well, in print preview always is fine but if i try to print, the result is orrible, because fonts are very smaller than print preview and layout is often wrong. The sheet's size is correct A4, and i didn't touch margin values. Any suggestions? Have a nice day

I can't say I've seen the same problem, but I did have a similar problem when I first installed FF. I found that websites' fonts were virtually illegible on my screen. For some reason, they were displaying using about 5 pixel height. On a low-res screen that's not so bad. On a screen that displays about 100 pixels per inch, that was too small and chunky for me to read. It sounds similar to what you're describing with the printer.

What I did to fix it was go into the Preferences, under General, and click on Fonts & Colours, and set the minimum font size to 12pt for the laptop (1024x768 resolution) and 14pt for the desktop (1920x1440 resolution).

If that doesn't help, what about printing from other programs? Is it just firefox that does this, or is it other things, too? And what kind of printer do you have?

sounds like a problem i had, only it was with any program i tried printing from. everything printed about a quarter of a page. was a problem with the printer driver. had to use a program called turboprint to fix it.
