How do i compare two files in Linux RedHat 6


I have copied two duplicated data amd I wannt to compare these two files
File01 compare to File01
File02 compare to File02

I want to know the no traces and essembles in each compare to the other one

Kindly help!

$ diff File01-orig File01
and / or $ diff -Naur File01-orig File01
Or : $ diff -Naur folder-A/File01 folder-B/File01

Save the diff result : $ diff -Naur File01-orig File01 > 01-01.diff

If you have a GUI installed, you can use meld. It's a GUI for diff and works quite nicely.
