Stand-alone clock

My clock that used to be in the lower right corner has disappeared.

I re-installed PupClockSet but still no clock.

I have installed some standalong GUI clocks, but none work.

Any recommendations ?

Do you want a clock as a bit of eye candy? I know I do like my desktop clocks.

pmck is quite nice. I'm running it on this here computer I'm using right now: http://01micko.com/blog/blog/2014/08...or-mans-clock/ A fellow-LQer created it.

swisswatch is AFAIC the classic clock for X: ftp://ftp.x.org/R5contrib/swisswatch-0.06.tar.Z (download link for sources)

You can find a lot of clocks here, but some of the links may be stale: http://www.usinglinux.org/x11-clocks/

Xclock or maybe use 'conky' to display the time (date, & a lot more) on the desktop.
