HCL - time to approval
A few days ago I received an approval mail for a product I submitted to the HCL exactly 1 year and 1 day ago.
Is this just a date calculation bug in the HCL software or did it really take so long to approve the entry? If the latter is the case (which I believe as earlier submissions also took months before they got approved), this is just ridiculous. The HCL should be a guide for buying new hardware, but after one year many products are end-of-life. I offered help with the HCL some time ago but was told it was not necessary. Could someone please clarify what the problem with HCL is? I really don't feel encouraged anymore to make new submissions. Regards ric. |
Do you get, or did you read Jeremy's last Community Bulletin?
Let me quote the paragraph about the HCL: Quote:

Hya,
I have two HCL entires which have not shown up yet. (Both are laptops, submitted about 8-9 months ago.) Are these still in queue? or disqualified? Happy Penguins! |
They've either been approved or deleted, because I cleared the backlog recently. You should have gotten an email either way.

I didn't get this one (probably I should follow the hint and whitelist lq), so please excuse my fuss making. The announcement sounds good. It was just really frustrating to make entries that never seemed to appear. I will give it a try once more :-) regards ric. |
