RH 8.0 kernel update, now no wlan

Anyone else lose their wlan after updating to the most recent RH 8.0 kernel? I got all the packages from http://prism2.unixguru.raleigh.nc.us/rh80/index.html.

I'm using Netgear MA401 pcmcia. Any help would be great!

Thanks

Paul

Have you been able to find a fix to this? I've got the same problem, if I load into the old kernel I get wlan0 but no video....and if I load the newest kernel I lose wlan0 but I have great video.

If you find a solution, let me know! :)

Thanks

Network problems ? What Kernels are you using?

What Kernel are you guys using using?

Is this related to the problem I'm having in the previous thread ? "Redhat 8 does not load network drivers! " ???

The original kernel was the one that was originally loaded with RedHat 2.4.14 or something like that, the updated one is like .18.8 I think (don't have my machine here right now)... but I found that if I go back to the old kernel, my wireless card works flawlessly...so I dunno what happened with the new kernel update and I have been unable to find someone that has an answer for me.

Hope this helps!
Adam
