Have you been able to find a fix to this? I've got the same problem, if I load into the old kernel I get wlan0 but no video....and if I load the newest kernel I lose wlan0 but I have great video.
The original kernel was the one that was originally loaded with RedHat 2.4.14 or something like that, the updated one is like .18.8 I think (don't have my machine here right now)... but I found that if I go back to the old kernel, my wireless card works flawlessly...so I dunno what happened with the new kernel update and I have been unable to find someone that has an answer for me.
