is there software for kubuntu gusty that will allow me to make my own zwinky thank you

I kind of hate to respond negatively to your 1st post, but I think with a little searching you could have answered this yourself.

I hope you have heard of the line "Google is your friend.", to that I would add "Wikipedia is your other friend."

See if you can figure this out on your own.

BTW, I spent more time writing this than it would have to just paste a link. It's a fishing lesson, not just 1 fish.

Well i googled zwinky for linux and this forum was all I could find. Google used to have a linux search section but I can't find it.

Wikipedia well they aren't nobody's friend, as the owner has gotten into deep doo doo as is his duty.

I did a whois of zwinky.com. Guess who owns the domain zwinky.com?

I'm still searching for a clone zwinky for linux. But it isn't in the first 100 hits on google.

I can't find zwinky for linux anywhere even with the linux google search, linux google search only comes up with 24 hits none of them a program for linux.

yes I found google.com/linux under advanced search.

I put in 2 words: zwinky linux. And I come up with 24 hits, I've done it twice, 24 hits.

I tried just the word: zwinky and still 24 hits.

Somebody most be filtering my internet connection most likely ATT.
If what you say is true, there is more than 24 hits.

Eww Why would you want to install that on anything, Windows or Linux.. Way too much adware for my tastes

But I did not see anything relevant (I just skimmed). It probably means it is not natively supported. You might try it with wine.

I never said that Google is your most helpful friend in this case. Go read the Wikipedia article.

BTW, farslayer is right about the safety of the software. The 1 consolation may be that Wine, or whatever, might sandbox it enough to make it relatively harmless.

Now that my MTU is set at 1400 I get 112,000 hits on google for zwinky linux, this day 11/21/2007.

I did relies that zwinky was full of troubles but it was for my daughter that I was inquiring so for all your effort thank you you are right that this is shall I say I hate this but microsoft friendly.
