How to install accerciser?

Hi
I am using fedora 8 x86_64.I want to know how to install accerciser on fedora, i tried it using yum but it demands certain dependencies. I searched on net but didn't get it. Is anyone know the best source of all rpm repositories. These are the dependencies:

1)python-gnome
2)accerciser-lang
3)python-gnome-extras
4)gnome-python-desktop
5)python orbit
6)IPython

Anyone knows where can i get all these?

Second, I use yum without internet i.e. whatever rpms I am getting with fedora dvd I am making use of them. Can anyone tell me how to configure using yum? I heard one file like 'rhel-debuginfo.repo' is needed to use yum with internet. Can anyone help?

Doubtful that you can. Fedora 8 is VERY old, and hasn't been supported or updated in years. You need to update to something current, if you want to use current software. Either that, or you need to download the source for everything you're trying to install, modify it, and compile it to work under FC8.

Unless you set up a local repository, Yum depends on the internet. If you're connected to the net, you can find a list of FC repositories to use, and set them up. Otherwise, the dependencies you mention will never be found, since they're not on the DVD, given its age.

Connect to the internet, or load a current version of Fedora.
