cedega game install reports wrong disk space
Hi folks!
I just got Cedega 4.4.1 and Point2Play 2.0.3 installed on Fedora 4 and I'm trying to install Dungeon Siege 2. Everything seems to work just fine, except that the game installer thinks I only have 1.9gb of free drive space. I actually have over 60gb. I've been all over the net trying to figure this out, and I've gotten nowhere. (yes, i did RTFM) If anyone out there can help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. :) |
ok, I've managed to find info that might point to somthing to do with disk quotas....but according to the command output I've seen, I don't have any quotas active.
this is really beginning to tick me off. am I doomed to be stuck using Microcrap Winblows? Please, somebody save me from returning back to hell. |
Help me also !
Hi you,
I'm in front of the same problem. Either use that unusable operating system or get DS II to run under Linux somewho. I already tried CXoffice but this one isn't really intended for game-play. I also tried to start the already installed DS II directly from the mounted VFAT partition (i took care not to install it on NTFS - so I can use it under linux eventually if needed). But then I always get a cedega error complaining about some "--used-dos-cwd" not found. I tried to copy it over to the Linux FS. After this I was able to start the game but nothing came up except a black screen which stood there for about 15 minutes until I interupted it. So are there any chances to get Dungeon Siege II (2) to run under Linux. greets, Bernhard |
