Smile Adiscon Loganalyzer wrong id and password

Hi guys,

I have install loganalyzer to read syslog from my database. However, i was unable to login. Have check the logcon_users from database and nothing inside so i have create a login account in database.

mysql> select * from logcon_users;
Empty set (0.00 sec)
mysql>INSERT INTO logcon_users VALUES (1, 'admin', 'admin123', 1, 0, 0) ;
mysql> select * from logcon_users;
+----+----------+----------+----------+-------------+------------+
| ID | username | password | is_admin | is_readonly | last_login |
+----+----------+----------+----------+-------------+------------+
| 1 | admin | admin123 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
+----+----------+----------+----------+-------------+------------+

But still i was unable to login.

Does anyone use this software and encounter this problem before ?

If you are using another software which able to achieve same function as adiscon loganalyzer, please let me know.

So you'll see that the password is stored as an MD5 hash, not as plaintext.
