Linux server frozen


Hi,

We are running file server in centOS suddenly its got frozen. We hard rebooted the server hardware. Is there any way we can get reason of frozen?

Check your log files

A good friend in such cases is sometimes

df -h

In case partitions have run full and have caused the servers failure...

check your /var/log/messages, also any of your monitoring tools for any clue before the reboot of your hardware.
