I run kde, and its in there on mine. Its under the sytem part of the menu. If its not there, just update your menu list, which is under the settings part of the menu.

type guarddog in the "Run command"

or in the konsole

You will have to be root to run it as well, and probably need to use
'gksu gaurddog' as command otherwise it probably wont open a window. You can look in /usr/bin and guarddog should be in there. Did you update your menu?

Any reasson you downloaded the guarddog app from a website and not from suse's pakacge system?
It would work better this way.
Not sure if guarddog is there but usually comes with most distros...no need for downloading anything.

Personally I use firestarter....i think its easier.(also in package system)

Just for shits and giggles check "lost & found"

but since you compiled and installed from tarball or source who knows where you put it;)
