CrossOver Office 5.0 is out!
|
Enough with the ads!!!
Wine 0.9 (officially beta) is out today as well and it's free.:p |
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you aren't a CodeWeavers employee using us as advertising...
I'm also going to move this to news. |
I assure you I am not a codeweavers employee nor am I working on the WINE project but I am a very satisfied CrossOver Office customer. For me WINE is a pain to install so I support and use CrossOver. Sorry lixy for not mentioning the WINE beta release.

You know I never saw what the big deal was with these M$-Office compatible API's.
I mean, for the most part, openoffice 2.0 can pretty much do anything MS Office does, and if you need to do something that ooffice can't, then better to dual-boot windoze. |

Well if you can afford m$office and you actually buy it, you're already sunk in the micro$oft $$$ black hole, so you can buy windoze as well.
As for maintainance, what maintainance? Isn't windoze supposed to be "user friendly" (though not to me) ??? |
Anybody please help me on how to install Cross-over-office sh. in Mandrakke

Crossover Office allows you to run Microsoft Office (and a bunch of other Windows only productivity software) in Linux.
