Tiling on kde Desktop

How do I do Tiling in KDE Desktop. It used to work with Gnome desktop.
At the moment one window will just overlay the other one.
cheers.

You have to download a KWin script for that. Go to System Settings > Window Behaviour > KWin Scripts. Then on the right you have "Get New Script". You download "Tiling" and install it and enable it.

If the above does not work, you can do things manually; check out https://github.com/faho/kwin-tiling

All the best.

NOTE: This is the Plasma 5 version.
For the Plasma 1/KWin 4 version, see the Plasma1 branch

I have KDE4 ver 4.14.5

I installed it and it worked for a while. Now it just goes to full screen. Is there way to turn it on and off again?
