And, it also sounds like verbatim homework. There are many issues you can have, just as with installing Windows...far too many to answer. Plus, there are things that are difficult for distros like Kali, that are NO problems for most other distros. And on what kind of hardware???

Try searching YouTube for "[distro name] installation tutorial." You'll find a bunch.
