Scientific Linux related problem in my laptop
Hi all...I am a new user of linux...i have recently brought a Lenovo Y500 7761 45Q laptop...it comes with vista home...i made a new partition and installed scientific linux 5.0 in it. but I am facing several problems in it...primarily no audio file is playing in any audio/video player...there is no wi-fi connection facility...please tell me the procedures how to play mp3/wma/mpeg/avi files in linux...and how to connect to a wi-fi network...one more problem is there...I want to listen only in headfons when it is plugged in...but after plugging in the headfon the sound is coming from both my laptop speakers and also from headfons...how can i solve this...?
