POP OS - Pop Shop updates and terminal command differences

Hi all

I am using POP OS 22.04, I am sure I am making a basic error here but,

when I run sudo apt update and then sudo apt upgrade, I basically get told there is nothing to update.

Yet from the POP SHOP there is both runtime and update to software.

Just curious as to why this is? Thank you
