New Install and NOt Loading?
 

I have just installed a RH /w kernal 8 and when i start up RH after i chose which Kernal version i want to run it on it goes to the black loading screen thing and then it gets to a point where it goes no further and stops......the text that it reads before it comes up with a blinking white loader is " apm: BIOS version 1.2 flags 0x03 (Driver Version 1.16)"

What is wrong and is there a way to fix this and load up RH? Thanx guys!

Hi, I've installed RH9 and it will NOT update the bootloader. If i install with lilo it does nothing, if i install with GRUB, when i boot it just displays the word GRU. and freezes. This is even if i make a boot disk, it will not work....all other linux distros work fine
