Need Help
Ok I've installed Fedora Core 5 and everythings going good but for some reason i cannot get my sound to work. I've installed the latest ALSA Drivers but i keep getting the same message at startup.
Error while initializing the sound driver: device: default can't be opened for playback (No such device) Could you please help me out I'm Running it on a: Dell Latitude 110L Processor Celeron M 350 (1.30GHz) CDROM 24X USB Floppy Drive External Wireless Dell 1450 802.11 A/B/G HD 40 GB Modem 56 kbps v.92 Ethernet Intel 100 USB 2.0 Memory 512 MB |
Sound Card
Type alsaconfig
The next screen will show the the sound card detected (if any) and whether the controls are muted or need to be raised. |
