I don't know enough about it to say if it was or not. Thing is I upgraded one computer to 16.04 but then had so many problems that I did a fresh install. (And I did a fresh install on my other computer then.) I don't know if the fact that they were fresh installs would change things regarding the drivers, as the article seemed to be talking about upgrades.

I know that a lot of people though have had problems with the upgrade to 16.04. A lot.

Thanks erik. I found it in Synaptic Package Manager and I was going to install it but then I got scared off by the warning I highlighted. Is that a big concern? (see screenshot)

Sorry, I'm not really sure. I didnt get any warning like that when I installed. Though, mine is on Debian and done through the cli. If it was me, I'd just continue with the install. But maybe someone here can answer the question better.

Erik. I just discovered I have no Shockwave Flash in this computer (I noticed because I have it in my other Xubuntu computer). See screenshot. I searched for the same Shockwave Flash I have in the other computer (see 014 screenshot) but couldln't find it anywhere in the Firefox browser/add-ons/plugins search box.

So yeah, anyway, that Shockwawve Flash is missing in this computer.

And LOL I don't know if I need to find that Shockwave Flash that the other computer has or maybe get your pepper flash. Thanks.

I just searched synaptic for freshplayer. I picked the plugin, installed it, and it worked without any further action. But you must have chrome browser installed, because that's where the plugin actually comes from. There is no standalone pepperflash-plugin.

Exactly. I didnt mention it because in the first post he said he already had chrome installed.

Thanks Erik. I took the plunge (living dangerously, I am LOL) and got the pepper flash from Synaptic. Oh, and I forgot to mention the radar now animates.
