How do I reset the login counter
 

Linux 4 64bit Enterprise Server 2.6.9-5

After users logout out do I reset the login counter so user can login. The GUI in:confused:terface does not show them locked out but after edit the auth file failed logins to lockout the user after five failed attempts.

edit /var/log/faillog

found file but but it appears to be a picture file
 

/var/log/failog appears to be a picture file. I'm I looking in the correct area?
