HELP! Cannon printer failed to parse time stamp: none

I haven't had any problems using my Cannon MG2522 printer until I upgraded to 19.2 Tina. I rarely use my printer so I was really frustrated to get the 'filter failed' message. I got 'failed to parse time stamp:none' when I tried to troubleshoot logs for cups service.
I went into admin and checked a few more update/ download boxes for cups and tried again. Now I get 'Failed to connect to server'
I'd load a screen shot but don't know how on here.
Thanks for your help.

ignore the screenshot....but I use ingur.com and copy the image link and paste it.

Instead I prefer....until you get a better reply go to admin and turn on debug using your web browser click on this link

http://localhost:631/admin

then click on Edit Config. File

edit to debug instead of warning

save it....it will need root as username and its password

Then Cups should (but I do not use LimuxMint) restart the Cups server.
If it does then grab the log from /var/log/cups (called error_log hopefully)
change it to a text file ....ending in .txt
upload it to say dropbox and link to it.....as file likely to be too big to attach to post please

fixed

I re-installed by rolling back to the first edition I downloaded. Nothing I tried before that worked.
