LinuxQuestions.org - Erro : not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

I am successfully running the linux kernel with version 3.16.0-rc2 from Linus's git tree.
But this issue comes with Linux version 3.17.0-rc4+ from git tree.

Is there dependencies of boot loader?

Is there any missing kernel compilation flag? i thinks both are using same kernel config.
