ya I want to use wine to run it but am new to using wine and linux in general. I am a MCP but have this thing for linux!

It doesn't really sound like you want help. On the chance you do, again, from a search (that you could have done yourself to solve this hours ago without having to wait for anyone here), I found this post. Have you read it and gone through the steps?

I do want help and honestly i didn't realise that whole posting stupid questions thing was your sig. Also don't you think my post is in the right spot noobies? I did goggle it and tried and it doesn't work for me.i get a error about not being an executable bit. I am totally confused. I want to become totally skilled in linux and other unix like os as i am in win nt.

As always, when trying to run an Windows application with wine, the first go for looking for information should be the wine application database. This is the entry for Safari 5.
