Win98 networked machine to FreeSco Router
 

I have installed FreeSco (031) on an old 486. It seems to be working. It will dial my ISP and connect but so what? I can't make my other networked machine connect to the internet through the router. These are networked using Olicom Ethernet NIC's and cat5.

If I run net card diags on either machine.... the two machines are talking. If I ping either machine. It pings fine. Right now I am communicating through the Win98 machine direct (modem hooked to it) through my ISP (Worldnet).
When I connect the modem to my router - and it dials/connects to the ISP, what command do I use at the win98 machine to make it 'see' the ISP and the internet?

Any idea's??

i have no clue what FreeSco is, but the cmputer that dials th ISP has to be set up to route traffic correctly. Can you give me more info on what FreeSco is?

OK i just read what FreeSco is, this is the feature list:

* dial-in server
* up to 3 ethernet cards (most cards supported by linux)
* up to 2 modems

What does the configuration thingy look like though? Do you have it NATing (if not is should be). According to their website, firewalling and NAT (that whole thing about masqurad) are built in.
