Maybe check the QoS (Quality of Service) settings on your Router.

Have you checked other settings such as what frequency/channel your router is using (like 802.11b or 802.11g).
Sometimes changing the encryption type helps. Change to WEP encryption (or no encryption) temporarily and see if your connectivity issues improve. Also try checking with the LinkSys websites and see what firmware updates are available. It may be prudent to update the firmware anyways. Even reinstalling the extended ddwrt firmware may help the problem. If the situation does not improve try using the factory firmware and see if you still experience issues. If you stop experiencing issues then maybe you just had a bad firmware version before or maybe there is a bug affecting all versions of it. |
