Broadcomm wireless driver working on LXDE desktop but not on Gnome3 on Mint 11
Dear All,
I have been using linux Mint for a while now on my HP Mini 110. I recently installed Gnome 3 shell on mint. The wireless driver is installed correctly and on LXDE desktop the wireless works fine but when I switch to GNOME it stops working. The additional drivers shows that the driver is working but I dont see the icon on the panel nor does it work.:banghead: Thanks in advance |
Try using wicd, and see if that works. I've had good luck with it both under XFCE4 and KDE.
btw, network-manager conflicts with it, so you might have to remove that if wicd doesn't work. |
