I'd say it may be possible to boot to some linux on this. The problem is basically the technical issues trying to overcome an unknown product. If you can find some other sites that offer clues on either side loading linux or dual booting it or booting from a usb then you may have a chance. The A9 processor is somewhat supported but who knows what other chips are in that. Tablets and phones are unforgiving if you don't have a usb that you can attach a keyboard.
Might see if anyone on Cygenomod has tried it but I'd guess no.
This is a netbook to which am trying to get the usb attached 64 GB flash drive with linux to operate using the netbook's cpu; so far all that comes up is the listing as text of the linux install program.
Digging deeper. Live with the Android you have on there.

. and noticing that the OS is loaded as Firmware, as well as reading the installation instructions... I'd have to say that No. There is not any way to get it to boot to a USB stick to install Ubuntu. Even if you could... the device doesn't appear to boot to the 4g of flash memory the unit uses for storage. The unit boots to the OS embedded on a ROM chip and uses the flash memory just for storage. Think of it like an Android touchpad with a keyboard... or a big phone. The instructions for loading the OS are very specific, and require using files designed for the process. Click the Installation link at the bottom of the product page and read them, to see what I mean.
