Any one have any experience with Linux on an IBM T41?

My new T41 is coming soon. Anyone have any experience on these or the T40's?

In my experince, one of the best resources is linux-on-laptops.com, after a quick peek on their IBM page I noticed several entries for both the T41 and the T41p, which may well be worth a close look at:

I've been running Libranet 2.8.1, which is base on debian, for about 3months now. I have everything working on it, except for my resolution. I like to get it running at 1400X1028 but 1028X768 is good enough.

If you're new to linux like me Libranet is a good place to start. Although it cost about $40 but it's the best $40 i spent.

Stuff that's working on my t41:

Kernel: 2.6.6 with 2.6.7 patch
Sound: alsa
dvd/cdrw: works
mouse : synaptic driver
wireless : using ndiswrapper
video: xfree 4.3

Feel free to ask me any questions, i'm not an expert but i can try to help :)

You mean you cant get it to run at 1400x1050? Thats what mine will be (ATI Radeon 9000 Video card). Im looking forward to getting it. I might also swap the wireless card to an a/b/g one. b just doesnt do much for me;)
