Wireless-adapter at least N-standard (stable, low latency, high throughput)

Hello everyone.

Recently I posted this on reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/comme...or_ac_adapter/

I hoped for more answers. But at least I tried the EDIMAX 7833UAC adapter and was really disappointed. Windows, Linux, everything it reached barely 50Mbps and did so only periodically - also the latency was bad. On internal wireless I reached easily 170MBps on all devices also on iPhone. Adapter was returned.

I just want a pretty recent wireless adapter that can be a solid companion with both Windows and Linux and do so with low latency and high throughput.

I think the panda is the next one I'm going to try. It seems the AC adapters are fairly new, untested and unstable - but I could be wrong if someone here could give in their experiences?

Apart from installed cards, I use NWU271 WiFi 11n USB sticks, or TP-LINK TL-WN822N desktop USB powered unit.

These work on my sister's Windows desktop, & on my Linux & OpenBSD machines.
