Great teachers enforces students to read the material and then do creative lectures on the information that student have read. Poor teachers let students skate by with out the necessary knowledge to move to the next level.

I will not teach anybody if they have no will to learn. Also I never, never do the work for them because they will never, never learn how it is done. Everybody learns by doing. For example, do you watch people playing computer games or do you play computer games. Playing the game will teach you the game and improve your skills while watching will never improve your skills or how to play the game. Sure watching can teach you some techniques but only if you know how to play the game.
