Problem configuring USB modem in Linux..
My USB ADSL modem isn't being detected in any flavor of linux. The modem is based on the Conexant CX82320 chipset
How do I go about now? According to http://dsl.linux.it/ChipsetConexantUsb , I need to us AccessRunner .. But how do I use it? Linux newbie here .. Willing to experiment  |

Read through... http://accessrunner.sourceforge.net/ ... accessrunner website, tells you what you need to know. Basically you need the driver and the right firmware before you can think about an internet connection. http://tlgu.carmen.gr/gnulinuxtips/F...GNU-Linux.html ... same chipset, different modem. I always advise ethernet modems. They cost a bit more but they always work. |
