Transferring files from linux to windows (using terminal server)

Hi

I need to transfer a file from my linux system to a windows 2003 server (which i am connected to using terminal server in linux). Is there any good way to do this or any way at all.

The security on the windows server is strict meaning i cant send the file as an attachment in an email and open it up on the server.

I would apperieciate help here as i need this information for other tasks. I would also like to know if there is a way to transfer files from a windows system to a linux sysem, if so, how? ..And i always here mean using terminal server in either linux or windows.

All file transfers require the cooperation of the server... this means talking to the sysadmin. Your comments suggest this is not you.

Specific means depend on your access to the server... it is encouraged that you use secure protocols; ssh, sftp, scp etc. It is usual, with windows, to share a directory automatically.

You shouldn't be opening e-mails on the server at all. You can get the server to send you your emails, and open them on your computer.
