I'm running a Slackware 10.1 box.

I've decided to try the 2.6.11 kernel and for the life of me I cannot get frame buffering to work. I want to see that cute penguin when i boot my new kernel damnit! :-)

Here's the important bit out of my .config

If you wish you can view the whole thing here: http://beyesh.dhs.org/config.txt

Also, my lilo.conf has some framebuffering mentioned in it as well could that be part of the problem? for reference: http://beyesh.dhs.org/lilo.txt

Hope this is the right forum....TIA.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
