Wolfenstine 30
What next?
Using a gui for apt. I run mint and debian derived ubuntu clone. This has got me the Wolfenstine 3d But no game data. The solution is the ccommand gamedatapackager. This gets wolf1.zip creates a .Deb file in home. Still no game data. |

This game isn't free. You need to get the data files from the CD or another installation of the game.

Yeah the level 1 data and programs were shareware of sorts. Previously I installed the Wolfenstine programs, then ran gamedatapackager to install the free of charge data.
I do have the game, but don't know where to put the level data. |
Just solved this by running strings over the wolf4sdl executable.
Put game data in /usr/share/games/wolf3d All file names need to be in lower case. |
If the issue was case sensitivity, then another option would have been to mount the game directory using ciopfs.
