Firefox not opening the page for me but asking me to download

When I enter a URL on the addressbar, or, click on a link, eg. http://www.linux-mag.com, which is a PHP file. Firefox didn't open the page for me, but pops up an opening window asking me to choose from "open with (Browse...)" and " save to Disk".

How do I config firefox/Linux so that firefox can open a PHP page .

Thanks.

That site does the same thing for me. That is a bug on their site, not your browser. This forum is using a PHP page, btw.

The issue is that they most likely don't have PHP installed in apache, so Apache is sending the un-processed PHP page to your browser, that it does not understand (because the server is the computer that needs to process the PHP, not the client).

When you visit a PHP page, the server processes the PHP code, and your browser just gets a standard HTML page.
