No solution. I'm using the workaround of keeping nautilus not maximized (occupying around 75% of the upper left part of my screen) and in this way I can do all needed drag&drop between all kinds of windows/apps, as long as I drop the things in an area not occupied by nautilus "underneath".

Hi,
I'm having the same problem. I just found this thread and already asked about it on another forum: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=261606 I'm also using fedora 14 with gnome. Can you guys not even drag and drop one item via the bottom panel bar? It works for me one time after I login and then nothing. Except if I drag and drop from window to window directly.. Maybe this should go to bugzilla... |
I have the same problem and the same solution !!
Not just copy and paste, but also for ANY drag and drop. For example, if I try to drag a video file into Totem. I have a fresh installation. My thoughts initially was that Compiz was causing this but it's present even if Compiz is turned off. Although not a dealbreaker it is very annoying. |
